Wedding videography by AA Studios LLC in Tabor Hill Winery, Buchanan, Michigan

Ashley and Nick had a beautiful wedding in Buchanan, Michigan on May 21st 2021!

It was such a pleasure getting to know them and filming their wonderful story.

Here below is a wedding video Highlight we made for them. It is definitely our favorite video from all the videos we made for Ashley & Nick.

It was our first time filming a wedding video. There was definitely a lot of preparation before this very moment. There was a lot to discuss regarding details of the wedding itinerary, all the couple’s wants and needs regarding the video and more. We couldn’t be happier with Ashley and Nick through the whole process. Ashley was very responsive and organized, which made it a lot easier for us to make sure that everything goes well and we produce great memories for the couple to remember.

We started the day around 11 am with shots of bridal make up. These shots were such a great addition to both of the Highlight videos. So many touching moments happened there with bridesmaids and Ashley’s mom. And of course we also had to film some shots of the guys hanging out and getting dressed.

When we were with the guys we also spotted dogs in the kennels. Nick told us that dogs are very important to Ashley and she would love for them to be a part of the wedding day but unfortunately they get too anxious around people therefore they had to stay at home. So we took a quick shot of them too and included in the Extended Highlight.

Around 3:30pm we had first looks, followed by bridal portraits with immediate family. It was so great to see Nick’s reaction the first time he saw Ashley in her beautiful wedding dress from Luxe Redux Bridal Boutique.

But my favorite part was that we also did first look with Ashley’s dad. The first look with all the bridesmaids was also so fun to watch. It was so amazing and truly special capturing all the genuine smiles and emotions.

Ceremony

Ceremony started around 5:30pm. The sun still was very high and it was very hot! Which was quite unexpected as we had rain and cold weather the entire month before that.
But, luckily the ceremony wasn’t long since the minister was a family member therefore he made sure that it goes light, quick and more importantly fun!
He certainly nailed it and made everyone laugh with these lines:
Ashley,
- Do you promise to keep the lights on when Nick comes home late?

- Do you promise to love Nick as much as you do your dogs?

- Do you promise to not binge watch mutually important shows without Nick?

Nick,
- Do you promise to remove temptation by eating all of the carbs off Ashley’s plate?

- Do you promise to protect Ashley from all 8-leged creatures, specifically spiders?

It was honestly the best declaration of consent we had ever heard at the weddings. Hats off to the genius officiant who came up with such hilarious and personal to bride and groom “I Do’s”.

Reception

After the ceremony there was cocktails hour. Usually this is when we would be taking shots with family members, but since we did that prior to the ceremony, we were able to use this time to prepare cameras and tripods to record the reception, set up audio recording for the speeches and grab few shots of guests, food etc. while bride and groom were hanging out with the guests and receiving all the hugs and “congrats”.

Tabor Hill Winery venue was absolutely beautiful! It had a large outdoor area and, since Covid-19 still was raging, having outdoor tent like this where guests were able to attend the wedding and still feel safe, was just perfect. Reception started around 7pm with fun entrances from the bridal party, following by cake cutting, first dances, toast and finishing the wedding night with a wild party.

Another memorable moment of the night was a DJ - James Mastrino who had a fun trick up his sleave. Right before we were ready to start packing up James told us that he is about to pull a fun sketch for the guests. Then he put on a wig, grabbed inflatable guitar and jumped on the table giving the guests a fun performance playing along with AC DC song “You Shook Me All Night Long”.

Not a single guest expected that and we got some great reactions from Ashley and her bridesmaids. That was defiantly a great addition to their Highlight video.

Ashley and Nick were absolutely great to work with, they were so kind and respectful, and their love for each other was certainly felt in the air. We loved capturing their special day and creating these timeless memories for them. We hope as the years go by, their love blossoms and they have only sunny days on their path.

A Few kind words from the couple:

Midwest wedding videography

“AA Studios was absolutely amazing!

They were very professional. They give you the personal attention you need and are very responsive. During COVID I needed to change venues and kept with me. The work they also did on the videography was incredible!! They truly know what they are doing. I am so happy I have these to look back on forever.”
