Enchanted Quinceañera Photo session in Michigan's Cemetery

Recently, We had a privilege of doing a photo session that was truly unique and unforgettable: a Quinceanera photo session at a cemetery.
This remarkable celebration of a young woman's transition into adulthood turned into an extraordinary blend of mystique and vibrant beauty against the backdrop of a serene cemetery.
Join me as I share the story of this captivating photoshoot.
Our client had a very specific vision that was both daring and captivating. Selecting a cemetery as the backdrop for this photoshoot was a decision that initially was very intriguing to us as we had never done a photo session at the cemetery before.
Cemeteries are often associated with solemnity and reflection, but this Quinceañera saw the beauty in the tranquility of this setting.
We decided to do a photo session during that magical time when the sun is setting because it's truly the best time for photos.
You see, during the golden hour, 1 hour right before sunset, the light becomes soft and warm. It's not too harsh, like the midday sun, and not too dark. This created an enchanting play of light and shadow that made the photos look truly mesmerizing.
She looked elegant and confident while rocking a beautiful red gown.
Her attire included a long, flowing black veil, black gloves, and an exquisite red crown.
She certainly stole the spotlight making a compelling visual contrast against the background of aged tombstones and peaceful surroundings.
Besides mystical set of photos we also got some more traditional poses in a beautiful garden so that way our Quinceanera has both types of photos to remember this special day.
Of course this was only a pre-shoot - a Quinceanera photo session that we do prior to an actual celebration. This session is great to schedule when you do your make up trial to get it tested out as well as get some beautiful portraits that you can display at the entry way to your sweet XV’s party.
Last but not least, since our Quinceanera girl is also quite a fan of Wednesday Adams, we couldn’t help ourselves but feature some of Wednesday TVshow inspired photos in this photo session as well.
We even had Thing - a member of the Addams Family join us for couple of photos.
